SOCCER

OUR CORE OBJECTIVE IS TO EQUIP STUDENTS WITH FOUNDATIONAL SOCCER SKILLS WHILE ENCOURAGING TEAMWORK, CONFIDENCE, HEALTHY LIVING, AND A LOVE FOR THE GAME.

Our soccer curriculum is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of soccer through fun, active, age-appropriate instruction. Students will learn the basic rules of the game, develop ball control and footwork, build confidence on the field, and discover how teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

Our curriculum is designed to encompass several key components:

• Soccer Fundamentals: Students are introduced to the basic rules of soccer, field awareness, positions, scoring, and proper game etiquette.

• Dribbling and Ball Control: We teach students how to control the ball with their feet, change direction, maintain possession, and move confidently during drills and games.

• Passing and Team Play: Students will practice accurate passing, receiving the ball, spacing, and working with teammates to move the ball down the field.

• Shooting Skills: Through guided instruction, students develop proper shooting technique, aim, balance, and confidence when taking shots on goal.

• Defense and Field Awareness: Students learn basic defensive positioning, safe movement, marking, and how to work together to protect their goal.

• Beginner to Advanced Development: Students are encouraged to grow at their own pace, with activities designed to support beginners while challenging more experienced players.

• Sportsmanship and Positive Competition: We emphasize respect, encouragement, fair play, and a positive attitude in every drill, scrimmage, and game situation.

• Friendship and Healthy Living: Soccer gives students an opportunity to stay active, build friendships, improve coordination, and develop healthy habits through movement, teamwork, and play.
