OUR CORE OBJECTIVE IS TO EQUIP STUDENTS WITH FOUNDATIONAL PICKLEBALL SKILLS WHILE ENCOURAGING TEAMWORK, CONFIDENCE, SPORTSMANSHIP, AND HEALTHY LIVING.

Our pickleball curriculum is designed to introduce students to the exciting, fast-paced game of pickleball through fun, age-appropriate instruction and active play. Students will learn the basic rules, develop hand-eye coordination, build confidence on the court, and discover how teamwork and good sportsmanship make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

Our curriculum is designed to encompass several key components:

• Pickleball Fundamentals: Students are introduced to the basic rules of pickleball, court positioning, paddle control, scoring, and proper game etiquette.

• Serving and Returning: We teach students how to serve with accuracy, return the ball with control, and begin each rally with confidence.

• Paddle Skills and Ball Control: Students will practice key techniques such as forehand shots, backhand shots, volleys, and controlled rallies to improve consistency and coordination.

• Movement and Court Awareness: Through active drills and guided play, students learn how to move safely, anticipate the ball, and understand positioning on the court.

• Sportsmanship and Teamwork: We emphasize respect, encouragement, fair play, and positive teamwork so students can compete in a supportive and fun environment.

• Confidence Building: As students develop new skills and participate in games, they gain confidence in their abilities and become more comfortable trying new challenges.

• Friendship and Social Development: Pickleball provides opportunities for students to connect with classmates, build friendships, and enjoy working together toward shared goals.

• Healthy Living: Students stay active while improving balance, coordination, focus, and overall fitness through a fun sport they can continue playing beyond the classroom.
