OUR CORE OBJECTIVE IS TO EQUIP STUDENTS WITH FOUNDATIONAL FLAG FOOTBALL SKILLS WHILE ENCOURAGING TEAMWORK, CONFIDENCE, HEALTHY LIVING, AND SKILLS FOR THE FUTURE

Our flag football curriculum is designed to introduce students to the excitement of football through safe, fun, age-appropriate instruction and active play. Students will learn the basic rules of the game, develop throwing and catching skills, build confidence on the field, and understand how teamwork, strategy, and good sportsmanship make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

Our curriculum is designed to encompass several key components:

  • Flag Football Fundamentals: Students are introduced to the basic rules of flag football, field awareness, scoring, positions, and proper game etiquette.

  • Throwing and Catching: We teach students how to throw with control, catch with confidence, and develop hand-eye coordination through guided drills and active practice.

  • Offensive Skills: Students will learn basic offensive concepts such as routes, passing, running plays, spacing, and working together to move the ball down the field.

  • Defensive Skills: Students practice safe defensive positioning, flag pulling, reading plays, and understanding how to work as a team to stop the offense.

  • Movement and Field Awareness: Through drills and game-based activities, students learn how to move safely, change direction, find open space, and stay aware of teammates and opponents.

  • Teamwork and Sportsmanship: We emphasize respect, encouragement, fair play, communication, and positive teamwork in every drill and game situation.

  • Confidence Building: As students learn new skills and participate in games, they gain confidence in their abilities and become more comfortable taking on new challenges.

  • Healthy Living and Future Skills: Flag football helps students stay active while building coordination, focus, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills that can benefit them beyond the field.
