OUR CORE OBJECTIVE IS TO EQUIP STUDENTS WITH FOUNDATIONAL BASKETBALL SKILLS WHILE ENCOURAGING CONFIDENCE, SPORTSMANSHIP, HEALTHY LIVING, AND A LOVE FOR THE GAME.

Our basketball curriculum is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of basketball through fun, active, age-appropriate instruction. Students will build confidence on the court, develop important coordination and teamwork skills, and learn how sportsmanship, effort, and positive competition make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

Our curriculum is designed to encompass several key components:

• Basketball Fundamentals: Students are introduced to the basic rules of basketball, court awareness, positions, scoring, and proper game etiquette.

• Dribbling and Ball Control: We teach students how to dribble with control, protect the ball, change direction, and build confidence while moving on the court.

• Passing and Team Play: Students will practice chest passes, bounce passes, and teamwork-focused drills that help them learn how to share the ball and support their teammates.

• Shooting Skills: Through guided instruction, students develop proper shooting form, aim, balance, and follow-through while building confidence in their ability to score.

• Defense and Movement: Students learn basic defensive positioning, footwork, spacing, and how to move safely and effectively during games and drills.

• Sportsmanship and Positive Competition: We emphasize respect, encouragement, fair play, and good attitude so students can compete in a supportive and uplifting environment.

• Beginner to Advanced Development: Students are encouraged to grow at their own pace, with activities designed to support beginners while challenging more experienced players.

• Friendship and Healthy Living: Basketball gives students an opportunity to stay active, build friendships, improve coordination, and develop healthy habits through movement, teamwork, and play.
